How To Get People To Interact With You And Your Business

You want people to interact with your business. So you write, re-write and practice your elevator speech. PFFT. That’s almost a sure fire way to get people to turn down their eyes and back away slowly. Probably not what you were hoping for, right? If you want to figure out how to get people to interact with you, then try some of the tips I gave recently to my Facebook fans. I covered everything from social media to network marketers and even face-to-face meetings. For example, I told a story about an old friend who re-connected with me on Facebook. Except she was only trying to sell to me. If you liked this video, join me live tomorrow (December 8th) at 11am EST. How to Gain Facebook Fans FAST

I put up my Facebook page 7 years ago when I opened my business because I knew I needed one.  But no one ever told me what to do with it or how to get the right followers.  For nearly 7 years it sat with less than 400 people on the page and no new content for people to read.  BOO. In April of 2016, with a new urge to push my business into a new direction, I started doing Facebook Ads.  I followed the things that Sandi Krakowski taught but my numbers were still abysmal and I was paying through the nose.  I did like ads, boosted posts, created ads for products and a few to gain some new faces on my email list. I’ve created a gorgeous 10 page booklet that walks you through my Facebook Ad System.  How to choose the right audience, how to tweak your …

Create Your First Facebook LIKE Ad [video]

When I started my business in 2009, I created a Facebook page because that’s what you’re supposed to do.  I halfheartedly posted every once in awhile and I invited all my friends to like the page.  It never went past 300 fans in 6.5 years.  When I re-branded my business and website, I decided that it was time to pull up my big girl panties and start doing all of the things that I teach new entrepreneurs to do. I started with a small budget – $10 per day – and created my first Facebook like ad.  The process was easy enough and on April 19, 2016 I had my first ad heading out.  That first ad set netted me about 244 new likes.  I had almost doubled my starting point!  Almost a month later, I realized that I needed to get my cost per like down, I created a …

The New Facebook Pixel + Custom Conversions

UPDATE:  Facebook has now given us the ability to delete custom conversions however you can still only have 20 custom conversions at a time. Facebook is a beast and with this little video in your corner, you can make quick work out of this whole new Facebook Pixel and have it up and running in under 10 minutes. A couple of nights ago, I decided that I would tackle this pixel and pop it onto my site. That was the easy part. The hard part came when I was trying to figure out how to track individual conversions on my ads from Facebook. Google to the rescue. Except I ended up tearing my hear out instead. I stuffed my face with a half bag of popcorn and 2 cans of Rolling Rock before I gave up for the night. There didn’t seem to be any clear, succinct information on exactly …

Death by Twitter: 10 Strategies to Live By

When I started my business over a year ago, I built it on Twitter. I’ve yet to spend more than $40 on advertising (and that $40 was for business cards that did diddly squat) and my practice is booming. When the company was in its infancy, I spent a lot of time different tactics for Twitter – especially since that was my first exposure to the micro-blog platform. The one thing I didn’t try – because quite honestly, I didn’t even consider it a strategy – was to follow a top-rated internet marketer. Seriously. Late last night, I tracked down Jeff Walker’s twitter account and followed him. I was (and still am) being flooded with new Twitter followers. In the short time it’s taken me to write the first paragraph and a half of this post, I’ve added another 17 Twitter followers to my account. I’m going to have to …
